Fees

The standard fee for a 50-55 minute therapy session is $200.

Fees are payable at the start or end of the appointment. Payment can be done by EFTPOS, cash or credit card (only Visa and MasterCard)

No referral is required if you are paying for the therapy privately and you don't wish to claim a rebate.

Rebates

Rebates for psychological services are available through Medicare, 'Better access to mental health' (there will be a gap fee). You will need to visit your GP to obtain a 'Mental Health Care Plan'. Referrals by a psychiatrist or pediatrician may also qualify for a rebate.

Medicare rebates for up to 10 therapy sessions per calendar year.

Please bring your referral letter and Mental Health Care Plan to your first appointment, so that a rebate can be claimed.

Private Health Fund

If you are insured with a private health fund, a rebate for psychological treatment may apply. Please contact your health fund to find out if this applies to you.

Cancellation Policy

I need reasonable notice, a minimum of 24 hours, if you are going to cancel or reschedule your appointment, otherwise you may be charged a cancellation fee, which is 75% of the full fee. Medicare rebates do not apply when a session is not attended.
